Job Summary
Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of English curricula for kindergarten, primary, and lower secondary learners. The role focuses on ensuring all materials are strictly aligned with international standards and specific institutional learning outcomes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Program Alignment: Develop and map curriculum content to ensure 100% alignment with CEFR levels (Pre-A1 to B2) and Cambridge English Qualifications (Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, FCE).
- Structured Lesson Planning: Prepare detailed, high-quality lesson plans that meet the pedagogical requirements of each specific program.
- Instructional Slide Design: Create clear, professional, and visually engaging lesson slides that facilitate effective classroom delivery.
- Assessment Design: Produce academic materials including quizzes, placement tests, and progress tests that accurately measure program-specific goals.
- Standardization: Review and proofread materials to ensure consistency in tone, difficulty, and branding across all levels.
- Feedback Integration: Coordinate with academic managers and teachers to refine content based on actual classroom performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience
- Curriculum Focus: Proven experience in curriculum development or academic content creation is highly valued.
- Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of teaching (preferably kindergarten or primary) or 3 years of teaching assistant experience is preferred to ensure practical understanding of lesson flow
- Pedagogical Knowledge: Solid understanding of learner psychology and age-appropriate methodologies to match content to student needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Standardized Testing: Strong academic knowledge of the Cambridge English exam suite.
- Educational Technology: Proficient in Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and gamified platforms like Kahoot or Blooket for slide and activity creation.
- Language Proficiency: English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or above (with a Reading score of 8 or above)
- Academic Background: Graduated with a major in English Language Teaching.
- Design Sense: A strong aesthetic sense for creating clean, professional, and organized learning materials.
- Operational Skills: Highly detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
